If you’ve ever wondered what is really happening inside your horse when they walk, trot, canter, jump or carry a rider, this is an experience you won’t want to miss.

Horses Inside Out is renowned for its unique approach to equine anatomy and biomechanics, bringing the subject to life using real horses painted with their skeletons and muscular systems. This fascinating visual approach allows you to see exactly how the horse’s body works and how anatomy influences movement, posture, performance and training.

Across two fascinating demonstration sessions, Gillian will explore:

🐴 How the horse moves – discover the biomechanics behind walk, trot and canter with an anatomically painted horse working on the lunge.

🦴 Anatomy brought to life – see real bones and anatomical displays up close and discover how the horse’s skeleton and muscles work together.

🏇 The biomechanics of ridden gaits – see painted horses working under saddle and explore what happens within the horse’s body when carrying a rider.

🔄 Paces & transitions – understand the movement and balance involved in changes of pace and transitions.

🤸 Gymnastic jumping – see biomechanics in action as the horses demonstrate movement and athleticism over gymnastic exercises.

This is far more than a lecture. It is a visual, interactive and fascinating experience that allows you to see horses in a completely different way.
