🐴 Craven Arena – Points Showing Shows 🏆

Everyone is welcome at Craven Arena’s Points Showing Shows, from Shetlands to Shires! Come along for a friendly and enjoyable day of showing, competition and fun.

Whether you’re new to showing or a regular competitor, our shows are designed to provide a welcoming atmosphere where you can get out, compete and enjoy the day with your horse or pony.

🏆 Classes & Championships

• Classes are placed up to 5th place
• Championships are awarded in each section
• The Tiny Tots Parade is open to all competitors who have taken part in the Tiny Tots classes

📋 Entries & On-the-Day Entries

Pre-entries close at 11:00am on the Friday before the competition.

Entries will also be available on the day at £10 per class, subject to availability.

If you are planning to enter on the day, please arrive in plenty of time to complete your entry and get prepared before your class.

Numbers are available to collect from the Secretary’s Desk from 8:30am.

🏆 Winter Showing Points Series

Want to make your competitions count towards something bigger?

Register for a Winter Points Series Number for just £20 and start collecting points throughout the winter season!

You can register specifically for the Showing Points Series, or choose one number to compete across all three of our Winter Points Series:

💃 Dressage
🏆 Showjumping

Every competition is another opportunity to build your points total and climb the leaderboard!

🌟 Aim for More Than Just the Rosette!

Collect your rosettes, build your points and see how high you can climb the leaderboard throughout the winter.

The series will culminate in our Winter Points Series Presentation Evening in April 2027, where we’ll celebrate the overall winners with prizes and more.

Whether you’re aiming for the top of the leaderboard or simply want to get involved and enjoy competing throughout the winter, why not make this your season to aim high? 🏆

📊 How Points Are Awarded

Points are awarded for every class, with the exception of the Tiny Tots classes:

🥇 1st – 6 points
🥈 2nd – 5 points
🥉 3rd – 4 points
4th – 3 points
5th – 2 points
Taking part – 1 point

Additional points are awarded for championships:

🏆 Champion – +6 points
🏆 Reserve Champion – +5 points

Champion and Reserve Champion points are awarded in addition to any points gained from the day’s classes.
