Are you ready to take your horse knowledge and confidence to the next level?
Whether you’re looking to strengthen your foundations, build confidence in day-to-day care, or prepare for future BHS exams, this two-day camp is the perfect step forward.

🏅 What’s Included

• Silver Challenge Award (About the Horse – Care & About the Rider – Theory)
• Log books for both awards (included in the price)
• Hands-on training to boost your confidence in handling, caring for, and understanding horses
• The opportunity to complete the Ride Safe Award (optional – details below)

Completion of the Silver Challenge Award provides direct entry onto the BHS Stage 2 exam. Certificates will be signed off if you meet the required standard during camp.

📅 Camp Details

• Dates: Two full training days (9am – 4pm)
• Format: Mainly non-ridden (except Ride Safe option)
• Age: Open to riders 11 years+ with existing basic horse knowledge
• Bring: PPE (riding hat, gloves, suitable footwear & clothing), lunch & refreshments
• Please note: No accommodation or catering provided

🐎 Ride Safe Option

On Friday afternoon, participants who bring their own horse may complete the Ride Safe Award, which includes:

• Simulated road route in the arena
• A small hack around the grounds

(Please state your interest in Ride Safe on the entry form).

• Handling your horse
• Caring for your horse
• Lunging your horse
• Riding fit, Jumping & Flatwork theory
• Ride Safe (optional, ridden)

• Short induction covering yard rules & safety procedures
• Rider registration form (must be completed in advance)
