💃 Craven Arena – Points Dressage Competitions 🏆

Join us at Craven Arena for our Unaffiliated Dressage Competitions, offering a friendly, supportive and professionally managed environment for riders of all abilities.

Whether you’re entering your first competition, gaining experience with a young horse or working towards your next dressage goal, our competitions provide a welcoming atmosphere where you can enjoy your day and build your experience.

🏆 Competition Classes

Classes will run throughout the day in the following order:

• Intro Junior & Senior
• Intro Open
• Prelim x2
• Novice
• Elementary
• Medium

🎵 Freestyle to Music

Our Freestyle to Music class is open to riders of all levels.

When booking, please include your ridden level in the booking notes. Music must be emailed to us before the competition.

Please note that test sheets will only be available once the final competitor has completed their test.

🌟 Non-Competitive Dressage

Looking to gain experience without the pressure of competition?

Our Non-Competitive Dressage class provides the perfect opportunity to ride in front of a judge in a relaxed environment. It’s ideal for training, gaining experience, introducing a young horse to the competition environment or simply getting some valuable feedback.

Riders may choose any 2024 British Dressage test. Please include your chosen test in the booking notes.

Alternative tack that does not comply with British Dressage rules is permitted for this class.

£15 per class

Entries close 3 days before the competition.

Times will be published on the Craven Arena Facebook page prior to the event.

🧑‍⚖️ Rider Requirements

• Full riding PPE must be worn
• Correct show attire is required

All competitions at Craven Arena are run in accordance with British Dressage rules.

🏆 Winter Points Series – October 2026 to March 2027

You asked, we listened! 👀

Make your dressage competitions count towards something bigger with our Winter Points Series, running from October 2026 to March 2027.

The series brings together three of our competitions:

🐴 Showing
💃 Dressage
🏆 Showjumping

You can choose to collect points in just one discipline or compete across all three.

ALL THREE – £35

Register once and start collecting points throughout the winter!

📊 How Points Are Awarded

Points will be awarded across all three competitions:

🥇 1st – 6 points
🥈 2nd – 5 points
🥉 3rd – 4 points
4th – 3 points
5th – 2 points
Taking part in any class – 1 point

For Dressage and Showjumping, Best Turned Out in each class will also receive an additional 1 point.

📈 Keep Track of Your Progress

You asked to be able to keep up with how you’re doing throughout the series — so we’ve listened!

We’ll provide live points updates at the end of each month, so you’ll always be able to see where you currently stand across the series and track your progress throughout the winter.

🎉 Presentation Evening – April 2027

At the end of the series, we’ll celebrate all our competitors at our Winter Points Series Presentation Evening in April 2027.

All prizes and rosettes will be awarded, alongside a chance to catch up with the Craven Arena community, celebrate everyone’s achievements and have a bit of a party! 🥂🏆
